Walking
From the center of Kranjska Gora, start by heading south on the main road (Jasna Road). Continue straight for about 2 kilometers until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the road towards Rateče, then continue straight. After about 1 kilometer, you will see signs for Bohinj. Follow the road that leads you toward Bohinj, which will turn into a more scenic route with beautiful views. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will reach the village of Srednja vas v Bohinju. Look for signs indicating Viševnik, which is a popular hiking destination. The trailhead for Viševnik is located at the edge of the village; follow the paths leading into the mountains. Be prepared for a hike, as the peak is a bit of a trek, but the views are worth it!

From Kranjska Gora, walk to the nearest bus stop located at the Kranjska Gora bus station. Board the bus heading to Bohinj. The bus journey will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Bohinj bus station, exit the bus and look for local signage pointing towards Srednja vas v Bohinju. You can either walk (approximately 10-15 minutes) or look for local taxis that can take you to Srednja vas. Upon reaching Srednja vas, follow the signs toward Viševnik, which will guide you to the trailhead for the hike.
