From the center of Ljubljana, head to the main bus station (Avtobusna postaja Ljubljana). You can take bus number 60 or 61 towards 'Preserje'. Once on the bus, enjoy the scenic ride which takes about 30-40 minutes. Get off at the 'Preserje' stop. From the bus stop, walk along the main road (Cesta na Brdo) for about 10-15 minutes until you reach Podpeško jezero, which is a beautiful lake located just a short walk from the main road.

Start at Ljubljana Train Station (Železniška postaja Ljubljana). Take a train to the nearest station, which is 'Borovnica'. This train ride lasts approximately 20 minutes. Upon arrival at Borovnica, exit the train station, and take bus number 60 or 61 towards 'Preserje'. After a short bus ride (about 10 minutes), get off at the 'Preserje' stop. From there, walk along Cesta na Brdo for about 10-15 minutes to reach Podpeško jezero.

For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the many bike rental shops in Ljubljana. Start from the city center and head towards 'Trnovo' along the Sava River.
