If you are traveling by car, start by navigating to the A1 motorway towards Ljubljana. Take the exit for Sava and continue on local roads towards the river. Follow the signs for 'Ljubljanica' as you approach. The river is clearly marked on GPS systems. Parking is available near the riverbank, but keep in mind that some areas may require a parking fee, which typically ranges from €1 to €2 per hour.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, check the local bus schedules. Typically, you can take a bus from central Sava to Ljubljana. Buses are frequent, and tickets cost around €2 to €3. Once you arrive at the main bus station in Ljubljana, you can take a local bus or tram heading towards the Ljubljanica River. Make sure to get off at the 'Ljubljanica' stop, which is close to the river. Walking from there will take about 10 minutes. Be aware that tickets must be purchased before boarding the bus.
Bicycle
