From Ljubljana city center, head to the Ljubljana main bus station (Avtobusna postaja Ljubljana). You can walk there from the Triple Bridge (Tromostovje) in about 10 minutes. Once at the bus station, purchase a ticket to Predjama. Buses to Predjama are not very frequent, but they typically run several times a day. Once on board, enjoy the scenic ride which takes approximately 1 hour. You will get off at the Predjama bus stop. From there, it is a 15-minute walk to Predjama Castle, following the signs towards the castle.

Take a train from Ljubljana to Postojna. The train departs from Ljubljana railway station, which is about a 15-minute walk from the city center or accessible by local buses. The train journey takes about 40 minutes. Once you arrive at Postojna train station, exit the station and catch a local bus towards Predjama. The bus ride will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the Predjama bus stop, and from there, it is a 15-minute walk to Predjama Castle.
