    If you are in the center of Ljubljana, start at Prešeren Square (Prešernov trg). From the square, head south towards the Ljubljanica River. Cross the river using the Triple Bridge (Tromostovje). Once you cross, turn left and walk along the riverbank until you reach the end of the riverwalk. Continue straight, passing by the Central Market (Osrednja Tržnica) on your left. After the market, take a right onto Trg Osvobodilne Fronte and follow it until you reach the main train station (Železniška postaja). The Railway Museum is located just a short walk from the station; you can spot it on the right side of the road. The address is 1000 Ljubljana.

    From the city center, head to the nearest bus stop, which is located near the Dragon Bridge (Zmajski Most). Take Bus 6 or 8 towards 'Zalog' and get off at the 'Železniška postaja' stop.
