If you are starting from Ljubljana's main train station (Železniška postaja), exit the station and head southeast on Trg Osvobodilne Fronte. After about 300 meters, turn left onto Slovenska Cesta. Continue walking straight for approximately 700 meters until you reach Trg republike, which will be on your right. Look for the large square with the parliament building.

From the main bus station (Avtobusna postaja), take tram number 3 or 6 towards 'Tivoli'. Get off at the 'Trg republike' stop, which is only a few meters away from the square. Follow the signs for 'Trg republike', and you will find yourself at the historical landmark in moments.

If you are at Prešeren Square (Prešernov trg), head east on Wolfova ulica until you reach the end, then turn left onto Gregorčičeva ulica. Continue straight, then turn right onto Slovenska Cesta. Walk for about 600 meters, and you will arrive at Trg republike, where you can see the parliament building.
