Getting There

  • Walking

    If you're starting from Ljubljana's main train station (Železniška postaja), exit the station and head south towards Trg Osvobodilne Fronte. Continue straight onto Slovenska cesta, which will lead you towards the city center. As you walk, you will pass several shops and cafés. After approximately 15 minutes, you will reach the intersection with the pedestrian-only zone of Čopova ulica. Turn left onto Čopova ulica and walk until you reach the end of the street. You will see the beautiful Prešeren Square ahead. From Prešeren Square, head towards the Triple Bridge (Tromostovje) and cross it. Once you cross the bridge, continue straight; you will find yourself on Mestni trg, where the iconic Town Hall is located.

    If you are near the Ljubljana City Center, take bus number 1 (the blue line) from any nearby bus stop heading towards 'Zalog'. Get off at the 'Mestni trg' stop.
