If you are traveling by car, head to Ljubljana first. From Posavje, take the A1 motorway towards Ljubljana. Once you reach Ljubljana, follow the signs for the city center. Exit at 'Sveti Jurij' and merge onto Celovška Cesta. Continue straight until you reach the 'Grajska planota' area. The Museum of Puppetry is located at Grajska planota 1, Ljubljana. There is usually street parking available nearby, but be sure to check for any parking fees which can vary depending on the area.

To reach the Museum of Puppetry using public transportation, first take a train or bus from Posavje to Ljubljana. The train station in Posavje provides regular services to Ljubljana, and the journey takes approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at the Ljubljana train station, exit the station and walk to the nearest bus stop (located outside the station). Take bus number 3 or 6 towards 'Kongresni trg'. Get off at the stop 'Kongresni trg' and walk towards Grajska planota. The museum is located at Grajska planota 1, approximately a 10-minute walk from the bus stop. Be sure to check the bus and train schedules in advance to plan your trip efficiently.
