    Getting There

    Bus

    From the center of Maribor, walk to the main bus station (Avtobusna postaja Maribor) located on the corner of Ulica heroja Stari and Ulica Koroška. Take bus number 1 towards Ptuj. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Get off at the Ptuj bus station (Avtobusna postaja Ptuj). Once you arrive, exit the bus station and head northeast on Ulica Slovenskih Pionirjev. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Na Gradu. Turn left onto Na Gradu and walk for about 15 minutes to reach Ptuj Castle, which will be on your left.

    Train

    Head to the Maribor train station (Železniška postaja Maribor), which is located on Ulica kneza Koclja. Purchase a ticket to Ptuj and take the train heading towards the direction of Ptuj. The journey takes approximately 20 minutes. Once you arrive at Ptuj station, exit the station and walk southeast on Ulica Slovenskih Pionirjev. Continue straight until you reach Na Gradu. Turn left onto Na Gradu and walk for about 15 minutes to reach Ptuj Castle, which will be on your left.

    Walking

    If you are in the nearby area, you can walk to Ptuj Castle by following the path from the center of Ptuj. Start at the main square (Trg Republike) and head northeast on Ulica Slovenskih Pionirjev. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Na Gradu. Turn left onto Na Gradu and continue walking for about 15 minutes. Ptuj Castle will be on your left, overlooking the town.
