If you are traveling by car from Mura, start by heading towards the A1 highway. Take the A1 towards Ljubljana and follow the signs for Nova Gorica. After approximately 110 km, take the exit toward Bovec/Log pod Mangartom. Continue on the road and follow the signs for Log pod Mangartom. From there, continue driving until you reach the Mangart saddle. The drive will take around 2 hours.

For public transportation, begin your journey at the nearest bus station in Mura. Take a bus heading to Nova Gorica. Upon arrival in Nova Gorica, you will need to transfer to a bus towards Bovec. From Bovec, you can catch a local bus to Log pod Mangartom. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they may not run frequently. Once in Log pod Mangartom, it is possible to reach the Mangart saddle by walking or taking a taxi, as it is approximately a 10 km distance.
