From the center of Nova Gorica, walk to the main bus station located at Gregorčičeva ulica. Take bus line 6 towards Ajševica. The journey will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Idrija' stop. From the bus stop, walk east on Cesta 1. maja, and then turn right onto Kosovelova ulica. The Anthony's Shaft Mining Museum will be on your left at Kosovelova ulica 3.

Walk to the Nova Gorica train station located at Kolodvorska ulica. Take a train towards Ljubljana and get off at the train station in Most na Soči. From there, transfer to a local bus towards Idrija. After about 30 minutes, disembark at the 'Idrija' bus stop. Walk east on Cesta 1. maja and turn right onto Kosovelova ulica. You will find the museum at Kosovelova ulica 3.
