Bus
From the center of Nova Gorica, walk to the main bus station located at Gregorčičeva ulica. Take bus line 6 towards Ajševica. The journey will take approximately 20 minutes. Get off at the 'Idrija' stop. From the bus stop, walk east on Cesta 1. maja, and then turn right onto Kosovelova ulica. The Anthony's Shaft Mining Museum will be on your left at Kosovelova ulica 3.
Train and Bus
Walk to the Nova Gorica train station located at Kolodvorska ulica. Take a train towards Ljubljana and get off at the train station in Most na Soči. From there, transfer to a local bus towards Idrija. After about 30 minutes, disembark at the 'Idrija' bus stop. Walk east on Cesta 1. maja and turn right onto Kosovelova ulica. You will find the museum at Kosovelova ulica 3.
Walking
If you prefer to walk, start from the center of Nova Gorica and head northwest towards the border with Slovenia. Follow the pedestrian paths leading to Idrija, which is about 17 kilometers away. This route will take approximately 4 hours on foot. Keep in mind to follow local signs towards Idrija and take breaks as necessary. Upon arriving in Idrija, navigate to Kosovelova ulica and find the museum at number 3.
