Getting There

Bus
From the center of Nova Gorica, head to the main bus station located on Ulica Tolminskih Puntarjev. Take the bus to Bohinjska Bistrica. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at Bohinjska Bistrica, transfer to a local bus heading towards Bohinjsko Jezero. This last leg of the trip will take about 20 minutes. Get off at the stop for Bohinjsko Jezero, and you will find yourself at the beautiful lake surrounded by the Julijske Alpe.

From Nova Gorica, walk to the Nova Gorica train station located on Ulica Koroška. Board a train heading towards Jesenice.
