From Nova Gorica, walk to the Nova Gorica Bus Station located at Ulica Tolminskih Puntarjev 4. Once there, take a bus heading to Bohinjska Bistrica. The journey typically takes about 1 hour and 30 minutes. After arriving at Bohinjska Bistrica, you can transfer to a local bus that goes to Lake Bohinj. Make sure to check the bus schedules in advance as they can vary. Once you arrive at the Lake Bohinj stop, follow the signs to reach the lakeside area.

Start your journey at the Nova Gorica Train Station, which is located at Savska Cesta 2. Take a train towards Jesenice. The train ride usually lasts around 1 hour. After reaching Jesenice, exit the station and find the bus stop outside. Look for a bus that goes to Bohinjska Bistrica or directly to Lake Bohinj. The bus ride from Jesenice to Lake Bohinj will take approximately 30 to 40 minutes. Once at Lake Bohinj, follow the signs to the lake area.
