Start at the main bus station in Nova Gorica, located at Kolodvorska ulica 3. From there, take bus number 14 towards Sežana. The bus departs every hour, and the journey takes about 30 minutes. Make sure to get off at the Lipica stop. Once you disembark, walk towards the Lipica Stud Farm, which is a short 5-minute walk straight ahead from the bus stop.

Head to the Nova Gorica train station located at Kolodvorska ulica 2. Take a train towards Sežana. The train schedule may vary, so check the local timetable for the next departure. The train ride takes approximately 25 minutes. After arriving at the Sežana train station, you can take a local bus number 14 or a taxi to Lipica, which is just a 10-minute drive away.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, you can take a scenic route from Nova Gorica to Lipica. Start at the center of Nova Gorica, and head towards the main road (H4) leading out of the city. Follow the signs for Sežana, which is about 12 kilometers away. It's a lovely walk through the countryside, but please ensure you're wearing comfortable shoes and are prepared for a longer trek, as it can take around 2.5 to 3 hours.

For those who enjoy cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Nova Gorica. Head towards the H4 road and follow the bike path that leads to Sežana. The ride is approximately 12 kilometers and takes around 40-50 minutes depending on your cycling speed. Once you arrive in Sežana, follow the signs to Lipica, which is a short ride away.
