Getting There

• Bus

  From the center of Nova Gorica, walk to the main bus station located at the intersection of Ulica Tolminskih Puntarjev and Ulica Vojvode Stepe. Look for the bus that heads to 'Bohinjska Bistrica' or 'Stara Fužina'. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Stara Fužina bus stop, exit the bus and walk towards the village center. Follow the signs towards Mostnica Gorge, which is approximately a 15-minute walk from the bus stop. You will pass by local shops and cafes as you make your way towards the gorge.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Nova Gorica. You can call a local taxi service or use a ride-sharing app. The taxi will take you directly to Mostnica Gorge in Stara Fužina, and the journey will take around 25-30 minutes. Make sure to tell the driver your destination clearly.

• Walking

  If you are feeling adventurous and want to experience the local scenery, you can walk from Nova Gorica to Stara Fužina. This would be quite a long trek, approximately 1.5 hours, so make sure you are well-prepared with comfortable shoes and water. Start by heading northeast on Ulica Tolminskih Puntarjev, then follow the signs towards the Bohinj area. You will be walking along scenic paths with beautiful views of the surrounding nature. Once you reach Stara Fužina, follow the signs to Mostnica Gorge, which is about a 15-minute walk from the village.
