Getting There

  • Bus

    From the main bus station in Nova Gorica (Avtobusna postaja Nova Gorica), take the bus to Cividale del Friuli. The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Cividale del Friuli bus station, exit the station and walk towards Via Giovanni Battista Candotti. Turn left onto Via Giovanni Battista Candotti and continue walking for about 10 minutes. The Museo Cristiano will be on your left at number 1.

  • Train

    From Nova Gorica train station, take a train towards Cividale del Friuli. The train journey takes around 20 minutes. Upon arrival at Cividale del Friuli train station, walk straight out of the station and turn right on Via Cavour. Continue walking until you reach the intersection with Via Giovanni Battista Candotti. Turn left onto Via Giovanni Battista Candotti and walk for about 10 minutes. Museo Cristiano will be located on your left at number 1.

    If you are already in the central area of Nova Gorica, you can walk to Museo Cristiano. Start at the main square (Trg Edvarda Kardelja) and head southeast towards Via Zupančičeva. Continue straight until you reach the bridge over the Soča River. Cross the bridge and follow the path leading to Cividale del Friuli. Upon entering Cividale, keep walking straight until you reach Via Giovanni Battista Candotti. Turn right and walk for about 5 minutes. Museo Cristiano will be on your left at number 1.
