    From the center of Nova Gorica, head to the main bus station located at Trg Edvarda Kardelja 4. You can walk there in about 10 minutes from most central hotels. Take bus line 7 towards Postojna. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Get off at the Postojna bus station, which is near the town center.

  • Train

    From the Nova Gorica train station, board a train heading towards Postojna. There might be a transfer at the Ajdovščina station, so check the schedule. The entire trip will take around 1 hour and 15 minutes. Once you arrive at Postojna train station, you can either walk or take a local bus to reach Postojna Cave.

  • Walking

    If you are already in Postojna, from the bus or train station, head northeast on Kolodvorska ulica towards Jamska cesta. Turn right onto Jamska cesta. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers. Postojna Cave will be on your left at Jamska cesta 30.
