Bus
From Nova Gorica, head to the main bus station located at Ulica Tolminskih Puntarjev 4. Take bus number 40 towards Postojna. The journey will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Get off at the 'Predjama' bus stop. From there, it's about a 10-minute walk to Predjama Castle. Exit the bus, turn right onto the main road (Predjama) and follow the signs to the castle.
Train and Bus
Start at the Nova Gorica train station. Take a train towards Postojna. Once you arrive at Postojna train station, transfer to bus number 40 that goes to Predjama. The bus ride will take around 15 minutes. Get off at the 'Predjama' bus stop, and then follow the walk instructions as mentioned above to reach the castle.

If you are feeling adventurous and would like a scenic route, you can walk from Nova Gorica to Predjama Castle, which is about 20 km away. Start from the center of Nova Gorica, head south towards the border and follow the signs to Postojna. The walk will take several hours, so ensure you have plenty of water and snacks.
