From the center of Nova Gorica, head to the main bus station located at 2 Gregorčičeva ulica. Purchase a ticket to Bovec. The bus will take approximately 1.5 hours. Once you arrive in Bovec, disembark at the main bus stop. From there, you can take a local taxi or check if there are any shuttle services to Slap Virje, which is about 6 kilometers away.

Rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Nova Gorica. Start by heading north towards the Mura River and follow the bike paths. Continue towards Bovec, which is around 30 kilometers away. The ride will take about 2-3 hours, depending on your pace. Once you reach Bovec, follow the signs for Slap Virje which is approximately 6 kilometers from the town center.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can hike to Slap Virje from Bovec. From the center of Bovec, follow the signs towards the Virje Waterfall.
