From the center of Bohinj, head towards the Bohinj Lake. Follow the road along the lake towards the village of Ribčev Laz. Once you reach Ribčev Laz, look for signs for the 'Slap Virje' waterfall. The trail will take you through beautiful scenery, and you will pass by a few small cafes and shops along the way. Continue following the signs until you reach the parking area near the waterfall.

Take a local bus from Bohinj to the nearest stop for 'Bovec.' The bus service is regular, so check the local schedule for times. Once you arrive in Bovec, you can either walk or take a taxi to Gljun. If walking, head towards the Gljun area by following the signs or asking locals for directions to 'Slap Virje.' The distance is about 2 km from the Bovec bus station to the waterfall.
