Getting There

• Bus

  From Nova Gorica, head to the main bus station, Avtobusna postaja Nova Gorica, located at Ulica Tolminskih puntarjev 10. You can walk there from the center of Nova Gorica in about 15 minutes. Once at the bus station, look for the bus line heading towards Bohinjska Bistrica, which is a common route. Make sure to check the schedule for the next departure. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Bohinjska Bistrica, you will need to transfer to another bus that goes directly to Vogel ski center. The total travel time from Nova Gorica to Vogel ski center is around 2 hours.

• Train and Bus

  Start at the Nova Gorica train station (Železniška postaja Nova Gorica), which is located at Ulica Tolminskih puntarjev 22. It's about a 10-minute walk from the city center. Take a train heading towards Jesenice. After approximately 30 minutes, get off at the train station in Lesce-Bled. From there, you'll need to catch a bus to Bohinjska Bistrica. The bus should take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Bohinjska Bistrica, take the local bus that goes to Vogel ski center. This entire journey may take around 2 to 2.5 hours.

• Walking and Bus

  If you prefer to start on foot, walk from the center of Nova Gorica to the main bus station, which takes about 15 minutes. Board a bus to Bohinjska Bistrica, which takes about 1.5 hours. Once at Bohinjska Bistrica, you will have to walk to the local bus stop for the Vogel ski center bus. The walking distance is around 10 minutes. This option combines walking and bus travel and will take approximately 2 hours total.
