Getting There

  • Walking

    From the central Tartini Square in Piran, head east towards the coast. Walk along the waterfront promenade (Obala) until you reach the bus station. From there, take the local bus to Trieste. Once you arrive at the Trieste bus station, exit to the street and walk south towards Viale Miramare. Continue straight on Viale Miramare for about 2 kilometers. Miramare Castle will be on your right, overlooking the sea.

  • Bus

    Start at Tartini Square in Piran and walk to the nearest bus stop. Catch a bus heading towards Trieste. After approximately 30 to 40 minutes, you will arrive at Trieste's main bus station. From there, exit the station and walk south on Via della Stazione, then turn right onto Viale Miramare. Continue on Viale Miramare for about 2 kilometers until you see Miramare Castle on your right.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Piran to Miramare Castle. Simply flag down a taxi at any designated taxi stand in Piran, or call for one. The drive will take approximately 30 minutes. The driver will take you directly to Viale Miramare where Miramare Castle is located.
