    From Piran, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located at the Piran bus station. Board the bus heading to Divača. The journey will take approximately 45 minutes. Once you reach Divača, you will need to walk approximately 2 kilometers to reach the Škocjan Caves. Exit the bus and head east on the main road (H4) towards Matavun. After about 1 kilometer, take a left turn onto the road signposted for the Škocjan Caves. Continue on this road for another kilometer until you see the entrance to the caves on your right.

  • Taxi

    If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Piran to the Škocjan Caves. Simply hail a taxi from your location in Piran or use a taxi app if available. Inform the driver that you would like to go to the Škocjan Caves in Divača. The ride will take around 30 minutes. The taxi will drop you off directly at the entrance of the caves.

  • Walking and Bus Combination

    If you enjoy walking, you can first walk to the Piran bus station. From there, take the bus to Divača. After arriving in Divača, walk towards the Škocjan Caves.
