Bus
From Portorož, head to the nearest bus stop. You can find bus stops throughout the town, including near the main promenade. Take the bus that heads towards Piran. Once in Piran, transfer to the bus heading to Trieste. Be sure to check the bus schedule for departures to ensure you have enough time. When you arrive in Trieste, get off at the stop closest to V.le Miramare. From there, it's a short walk to Miramare Castle.

Train and Bus
First, make your way to the nearest train station in Portorož. Take a train towards Trieste. After arriving at the Trieste train station, follow the signs to the bus terminal located right next to the station. Catch a local bus heading towards V.le Miramare. The bus will take you directly to the castle area. Once you get off, it's a short walk to the castle entrance.

Walking
If you prefer to walk, you can start from the center of Portorož and walk along the coast towards Piran. It's a scenic route that takes about 30-40 minutes. Once you reach Piran, head to the bus station and take a bus to Trieste. After arriving in Trieste, follow the directions to V.le Miramare to reach Miramare Castle.
