Walking
From the center of Portorož, head towards the beach promenade (Obala). Walk along the promenade heading towards the northwest until you reach the bus station (Avtobusna postaja Portorož). Once there, you need to catch a bus that goes to Piran. The bus ride will take approximately 15 minutes. After arriving in Piran, look for the bus that goes towards Pazin (make sure to check the bus schedule). Once in Pazin, disembark at the stop closest to Trg istarskog razvoda. From there, it’s a short walk to Pazin Castle located at Trg istarskog razvoda 1.

Public Transport
Take the local bus from Portorož to Piran. The bus station is located near the main promenade. Buy a ticket from the kiosk or the bus driver. Once in Piran, transfer to a bus heading to Pazin. Make sure to check the schedule ahead of time as buses may not run frequently. When you arrive in Pazin, the castle is within walking distance from the bus station. Head northwest on Trg istarskog razvoda, and you’ll see the castle.

If you prefer a more direct route, you can take a taxi from Portorož to Pazin Castle. You can find taxis near the beach or call one from your accommodation. The taxi ride will take approximately 30 minutes directly to Trg istarskog razvoda 1, where Pazin Castle is located. Make sure to confirm the fare with the driver before starting your journey.
