    Getting There

    Walking

    From the center of Portorož, head southeast on Obala towards the beach. Continue walking along the coast for about 20 minutes until you reach the harbor area. Once you reach the harbor, follow the signs to Koper, which is approximately a 10-15 minute walk from the harbor. You will eventually arrive at the waterfront promenade. Continue walking along the promenade until you can see the old town of Koper. The Praetorian Palace is located at Titov trg 3, which is a short 5-minute walk from the promenade, directly in the heart of Koper.

    Bus

    From Portorož, you can take a bus to Koper. Head to the Portorož bus station located near the center of town. Look for the bus that says it is headed to Koper (usually indicated on the front of the bus). The bus ride takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Koper bus station, exit and head straight towards the old town area. Follow the signs for the historical center, which will lead you to the Praetorian Palace located at Titov trg 3.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer to cycle, you can rent a bicycle in Portorož. Start by heading south on the coastal path. The route is mostly flat and very scenic, taking you along the coastline. After about 30 minutes of cycling, you will reach Koper. Once in Koper, park your bicycle at a designated bike parking area and walk towards the old town. The Praetorian Palace is located at Titov trg 3, just a few minutes from where you park your bike.
