Walking
Start from the main promenade in Portorož, known as Obala. Walk north towards the direction of Piran. When you reach the roundabout, continue straight on the main road (Tartinijev trg) towards the town of Piran. After approximately 30 minutes, you will arrive at the scenic Tartini Square in Piran. From Tartini Square, head towards the Piran bus station, which is about a 5-minute walk. Catch a bus from Piran to Koper, which is a short ride of about 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Koper, follow the signs to the city center. Praetorian Palace is located at Titov trg 3, Koper. It is just a 10-minute walk from the bus station. As you approach the main square, you will see the palace on your right.

Once you arrive at the Koper bus station, exit and follow the signs leading to the city center. Head straight on Gregorčičeva ulica, which will take you through the heart of Koper. Continue straight until you reach the main square, Titov trg. Praetorian Palace is located at Titov trg 3, to your right as you enter the square.
