If you are traveling by car from anywhere in Posavje, head towards Celje. The castle is located at Cesta na Grad 78, 3000 Celje. Use GPS coordinates 46.2194827, 15.2719758 for direct navigation. The drive will take around 30 minutes from most areas within Posavje. Once you reach Celje, follow the signs for 'Grad' (Castle) which will lead you to the castle parking area. Please note there may be a small parking fee, around €2 per hour.
Public Transportation
To reach Celje Castle using public transportation, take a bus or train to Celje from any major town in Posavje. If you're in Laško or Žalec, you can catch a local bus or train that runs frequently to Celje. Once you arrive at the Celje bus or train station, you can either walk to the castle, which is about a 30-minute walk uphill, or take a local taxi for approximately €5-€10. If you choose to walk, head northwest towards the city center, then follow signs that direct you to Cesta na Grad.
Taxi
