Car
If you are traveling by car from central Posavje, head west on the main road towards Ljubljana. Follow the signs for the E61 highway. Continue on E61 for approximately 35 kilometers. Take the exit towards Šmartno and follow the signs to Mount Saint Mary (Šmarna gora). The address is 1211 Ljubljana - Šmartno. There is a parking area near the trailhead where you can leave your car. Note that parking may incur a small fee.
Public Transportation
To reach Mount Saint Mary using public transportation, first take a bus from any major town in Posavje (e.g., Krško or Sevnica) to Ljubljana. Check the local bus schedules for times. Once in Ljubljana, transfer to a local bus heading to Šmartno. The bus stop you want is 'Šmartno'. From there, it is approximately a 20-minute walk to the trailhead leading up to Mount Saint Mary. Be sure to check the bus schedules for return trips, as they may be limited, especially in the evening.
