From Postojna Cave, exit the cave area and drive towards the main road (H4). Head north for about 4 kilometers until you reach the A1 motorway. Merge onto the A1 motorway towards Ljubljana. Continue for approximately 40 kilometers and take exit 18 for Ljubljana-Obvoz. Follow the signs for the city center (Center) and drive for about 5 kilometers. You will arrive at Trg francoske revolucije, where the Monument to the French Illyrian Province is located. Parking is available nearby, but there may be a fee.
