From the Postojna Cave entrance, exit the cave complex and head toward the main road (H4). Turn left onto H4 and continue walking for about 1.5 km until you reach a sign for Veliki Otok. Follow the signs directing you to Veliki Otok. The path will lead you through a scenic area, and you will eventually arrive at črna jama. The total walking distance is approximately 2 km and should take about 25-30 minutes.
Taxi
If you prefer a quicker option, you can take a taxi from Postojna Cave to črna jama. Taxis are usually available near the cave entrance. The journey will take about 5-10 minutes, and the fare should be around 5-10 EUR, depending on traffic. Make sure to confirm the price with the driver before starting your ride.
Public Bus
Alternatively, you can take a public bus. From the Postojna Cave, walk to the nearest bus stop located on the main road (H4). Check the local bus schedule for routes heading towards Veliki Otok.
