From the center of Postojna, head towards the main bus station located at Trg Zvonka Laha. Once there, look for the bus that goes towards Trieste. You can purchase your ticket from the kiosk at the bus station. The bus ride will take approximately one hour. Once you arrive in Trieste, get off at the main bus terminal (Stazione Autobus Trieste). From the bus terminal, walk towards Via della Stazione and head northeast until you reach Piazza della Libertà. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Via San Nicolò, and take a left. Follow the street until you reach the magnificent Castello di San Giusto located at P.za della Cattedrale, 3.

Make your way to the Postojna train station, which is about a 15-minute walk from the city center. Once at the station, purchase a ticket for a train heading to Trieste. The train journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at Trieste Centrale station, exit the station and walk towards Via della Stazione. Continue straight to Piazza della Libertà, then turn left onto Via San Nicolò. Walk straight until you reach Castello di San Giusto at P.za della Cattedrale, 3.
