If you're starting from the Postojna Bus Station, exit the station and head south towards the main road, Tržaška cesta. Turn left onto Tržaška cesta and walk straight for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the crossroads with the main street, Hlavatyjeva. Cross the street and continue walking straight, following the signs for the train station. You will pass by a few local shops and cafes. After approximately 500 meters, you will reach the entrance of the Postojna Cave. From here, continue straight until you see the signs directing you towards Trieste. You will take a bus from Postojna to Trieste, which takes around one hour. Once you arrive in Trieste, head towards Piazza del Ponterosso, which is located in the city center.

From the center of Postojna, locate the bus stop near the Postojna Cave entrance. You can catch a bus heading to Trieste. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance, as frequencies may vary. The bus journey to Trieste will take about one hour. Once you arrive at the Trieste bus station, exit the terminal and walk towards the main street. Turn right and head straight until you reach Piazza del Ponterosso, which is approximately a 10-minute walk.
