If you are starting from the Postojna Bus Station, exit the station and head towards the main road, Tržaška Cesta. Turn left and walk straight until you reach the roundabout. Continue straight through the roundabout and follow the signs towards Ljubljana. You will soon reach the Postojna Cave area. From there, look for signs that direct you to the Postojna train station. Take a train from Postojna to Ljubljana, which takes about 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Ljubljana's main train station, exit and head towards the city center. Follow the signs or maps towards Prešernov trg, which is just a short 10-minute walk straight ahead.

From Postojna, head to the Postojna Bus Station. You can take a bus directly to Ljubljana, which is approximately a 45-minute journey. Buses leave regularly, so check the schedule at the station. Upon arrival at the Ljubljana Bus Station, exit and follow the signs to the city center. Prešernov trg is about a 15-minute walk from the bus station. Walk straight, crossing the Ljubljanica River, and you will reach Prešernov trg, which is a popular square in the city.

From Postojna, make your way to the Postojna Train Station. Purchase a ticket for a train to Ljubljana; the journey takes around 45 minutes. Once you arrive at Ljubljana Train Station, exit the station and walk towards the city center. Follow the signs for Prešernov trg, which is a straight 10-minute walk. You will pass through some charming streets and cross the river before reaching the square.
