Bus

From the center of Postojna, walk to the Postojna bus station, which is located on Tržaška cesta. You can recognize it by the large sign that says 'Avtobusna postaja'. Once there, purchase a ticket to Trieste. Buses to Trieste run regularly, typically every hour. The journey should take about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Once you arrive in Trieste, get off at the main bus station.
Walking

After arriving at the main bus station in Trieste, exit the station and head towards the nearby Piazza della Libertà. From there, walk south towards Via della Libertà. Continue straight until you reach Viale Miramare. Miramare Castle will be on your left. It’s about a 30-minute walk from the bus station, so be prepared for a lovely stroll along the waterfront.
Tram

Alternatively, from the Trieste bus station, you can take a tram. Head to the nearest tram stop, which is located on Via della Libertà. Take the tram line 2 towards 'Opicina' and get off at the 'Miramare' station. From there, it's a short 5-minute walk to the castle. Follow the signs towards Viale Miramare, and you will see the castle entrance.
