Walking
If you are in the center of Postojna, start by heading towards the main bus station. From there, take a bus to Ljubljana. Buses run frequently, so check the schedule at the station. Once you arrive at the Ljubljana bus station, exit and head towards the city center. You can follow the signs or use a map application on your phone. Walk along Slovenska Cesta street, which will lead you directly to Prešeren Square. The square will be a prominent open area with a statue of the poet France Prešeren, and you can't miss it.

From Postojna, catch a bus to Ljubljana at the main bus station. The journey takes approximately 45 minutes. Once you arrive at the Ljubljana bus station, take the exit towards the city center. Prešeren Square is about a 15-minute walk from there. Follow the signs towards the Old Town, and you will reach the square, which is located at Prešernov trg 1.

Although Postojna is a small town with limited train services, if you prefer this mode of transport, check the train schedule at the Postojna train station. Board a train heading to Ljubljana, and upon arrival at Ljubljana train station, exit and walk towards the city center. Prešeren Square is about a 20-minute walk from the train station. Simply follow the signs for the Old Town, and you will find the square at Prešernov trg 1.
