Walking
From the center of Postojna, head towards the main bus station located at Trg Zdravja. From there, walk straight along Tržaška Cesta for about 10 minutes until you reach the intersection with the main road, H4. Cross the road and continue straight into the direction of the bus terminal, then take a left on Ulica Kranjčeva. Follow this road until you reach the roundabout. Take the second exit towards the main road leading to Trieste. Continue walking straight until you reach the border. Once you cross into Italy, follow the signs towards Trieste city center. After about 20 minutes of walking, you will reach Via S. Francesco D'Assisi. The Trieste Synagogue will be located at number 19 on this street.

From Postojna, make your way to the main bus station at Trg Zdravja. Board a bus to Trieste; the bus service is regular and operates several times a day. The journey takes approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Trieste bus station, exit towards the main square (Piazza della Libertà). From there, you can either walk or take a local bus. If walking, go straight down Corso Cavour, and then take a right onto Via San Francesco. Continue walking for about 10 minutes. The Trieste Synagogue is located at Via S. Francesco D'Assisi, 19.
