Getting There

• Walking

  From the center of Postojna, head towards the main bus station located on Trg Prekomorskih Brigad. Once there, you can take a bus to Vipava. Look for a bus heading towards Ajdovščina or Nova Gorica, as they typically stop in Vipava. The bus ride will take approximately 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Vipava bus station, exit the station and turn left onto the main road (Tabor). Walk straight along the road for about 1 kilometer, and you will reach the Vipava River Spring located at Tabor 5 on your left.

• Bicycle

  Rent a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Postojna. Start your journey by cycling towards the bus station and then take the bike path that connects Postojna to Vipava. Follow the signs along the route which should lead you directly to Vipava. The ride typically takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour. Upon reaching Vipava, head towards Tabor street; the Vipava River Spring is located at Tabor 5.

• Public Transport

  From Postojna, make your way to the main bus station at Trg Prekomorskih Brigad. Check the bus schedule for the next bus to Vipava. Board the bus and enjoy the scenic ride, which lasts about 30 minutes. After arriving at the Vipava bus station, you can walk towards the main road, Tabor. Turn left and proceed on Tabor for approximately 1 kilometer until you see the Vipava River Spring at Tabor 5.
