    Getting There

    Walking

    From the center of Postojna, head northeast towards the main bus station. When you reach the bus station, take bus number 20 to Ljubljana. The bus ride will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Ljubljana bus station, exit the building and head towards the main square, Prešeren Square. From Prešeren Square, walk towards the Ljubljanica River and cross the Dragon Bridge (Zmajski Most). Continue straight on until you reach the intersection with Mirje Street. Turn left onto Mirje Street and walk for about 10 minutes until you arrive at the Roman Wall, which will be on your right.

    Bicycle

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle in Postojna. Start from the center of Postojna and follow the bike paths leading towards Ljubljana. The route will take you through beautiful landscapes and small villages. Once you reach Ljubljana, head towards the city center. When you arrive at Prešeren Square, navigate towards the Ljubljanica River, then cross the Dragon Bridge. Continue walking along the river until you reach Mirje Street. Ride along Mirje Street for about 10 minutes until you reach the Roman Wall on your right.

    Public Transport

    To get to the Roman Wall using public transport, start at the Postojna bus station. Board the bus heading to Ljubljana, which will take approximately 1 hour. Once you arrive at the Ljubljana bus station, you can take tram number 1 towards ‘IKEA’ or ‘Šentvid’. Get off at the ‘Kongresni trg’ stop. From there, walk towards Prešeren Square, then along the Ljubljanica River to the Dragon Bridge. After crossing the bridge, turn left onto Mirje Street and walk for about 10 minutes until you see the Roman Wall on your right.
