Getting There

Walking
From the center of Rogaška Slatina, head toward the main bus station located on the main road. Once there, you will see the bus stop. Look for a bus heading to Lepoglava; the journey will take about 30 minutes. After arriving at the Lepoglava bus station, exit the bus and head south on Trg Sv. Marka. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with Trakošćanska Ulica. Turn right onto Trakošćanska Ulica. Walk for about 1.5 kilometers until you see signs for Trakošćan Castle. The castle will be on your left.

Biking
If you prefer biking, rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Rogaška Slatina. Start your ride from the town center and head towards the main road. Follow the bike paths that lead to Lepoglava. The route is approximately 6 kilometers and will take about 25 minutes. Once you reach Lepoglava, look for signs directing you to Trakošćan Castle. The castle is about 1.5 kilometers from the center of Lepoglava, so continue straight until you reach the castle grounds.

Public Transport
From Rogaška Slatina, take a local bus from the main bus station to Lepoglava. Buses run multiple times a day, and the journey takes approximately 30 minutes. Upon arrival at Lepoglava bus station, exit and walk south towards Trg Sv. Marka. From there, turn right onto Trakošćanska Ulica and follow the road for about 1.5 kilometers. Look for signs indicating the direction to Trakošćan Castle, which will be on your left.
