Getting There

  • Walking

    Start from the Sežana train station. Exit the station and head towards the main road, which is called Trg 1. Take a right and walk straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the road called Vojkovo Nabrežje. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the border with Italy. Once you cross into Italy, the road becomes Via Vignole. Keep walking until you reach the city of Trieste. As you approach the waterfront, you will see signs for V.le Miramare. Follow the signs and walk approximately 1 kilometer along V.le Miramare until you reach Miramare Castle on your left.

  • Bus

    From the Sežana bus station, take the bus towards Trieste. You can check the bus schedule for the next available departure. The bus ride will take about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the Trieste bus station, exit and walk towards the main square (Piazza Unità d'Italia). From the square, head towards the waterfront and find V.le Miramare. Walk along V.le Miramare for about 1 kilometer until you reach Miramare Castle on your left.
