Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Sežana, head southwest on the main street (Tovarniška cesta) towards the Sežana train station. Once you reach the station, you can take the train to the nearby town of Vipava. Make sure to check the train schedule in advance as the frequency may vary. Upon arrival at Vipava station, exit the station and head northeast on the main road (Slap) for about 1.5 kilometers. The Petrič winery is located at Slap 53a, which should be on your left side. Look for the signs indicating the winery as you approach.

    From Sežana, you can take a bus to the town of Ajdovščina, which is the nearest major town to Vipava. Check the bus schedules for the most accurate times. Once you arrive in Ajdovščina, transfer to a local bus heading towards Vipava. Get off at the stop closest to Slap. From there, it is a short walk of about 10 minutes. Head towards Slap 53a, and you will reach the Petrič winery.
