    From the center of Sežana, walk to the Sežana bus station located on the main road (Trg 1. maja 7). Once at the bus station, look for the bus heading to Postojna. The buses typically run every hour. Get off at the 'Predjama' bus stop. After disembarking, walk towards the direction of the castle which is about a 15-minute walk. Follow the signs leading to Predjama Castle, which is located at Predjama 1, 6230 Predjama.

    If you prefer walking, start at the center of Sežana. Head south along the main road (H3) towards Predjama. The distance is approximately 10 kilometers, which may take about 2 to 2.5 hours on foot. Follow the main road, and be cautious as there may be stretches without sidewalks. You will eventually see signs indicating the direction to Predjama Castle. As you approach, you’ll see the castle's impressive structure in the distance.

  • Bicycle Rental

    For a more adventurous route, consider renting a bicycle from one of the rental shops in Sežana. Start at the center of Sežana and head south on the main road (H3) towards Predjama. The ride is roughly 10 kilometers and should take about 30-40 minutes. Follow the cycling paths where available and be mindful of traffic.
