Walking
From the center of Sežana, head northeast on the main road (Tomažičeva ulica) towards the train station. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction with the main road leading to Štanjel. Turn left onto the road (H4) leading to Štanjel. Follow this road for approximately 4 kilometers. As you approach Štanjel, you will see signs directing you to Štanjel Castle. The castle is located at Štanjel 1a, which is a short uphill walk from the village center.

From the Sežana bus station, take a bus heading towards Štanjel. Buses are available several times a day, so check the local schedule for exact times. The journey takes about 15-20 minutes. After arriving in Štanjel, follow the signs to Štanjel Castle, which is about a 15-minute walk uphill from the bus stop. Head towards the village center and look for the signs pointing to Štanjel Castle located at Štanjel 1a.
