Walking
Start at the Sežana train station. Exit the station and head northeast on the main road (Trg Osvobodilne Fronte). Continue straight until you reach the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the main road (H1). Walk along this road for approximately 1.5 km until you reach the border of Italy. Once you cross the border, continue straight for about 1 km. You will enter the city of Trieste. Follow the signs towards the city center. After a short walk, turn left onto Via S. Francesco D'Assisi. The Trieste Synagogue will be on your right at number 19.
Public Transport
From Sežana, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is located near the train station. Take the bus line 23 towards Trieste (make sure to check the latest schedule). The bus ride will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Disembark at the Trieste city center stop. Once you are off the bus, walk towards Via S. Francesco D'Assisi. It is a short 10-minute walk from the bus stop to the synagogue, located at number 19.
