Walking
From the center of Sežana, head east on Main Street (Cesta 1. maja) towards the roundabout. At the roundabout, take the second exit onto the road leading to the train station. Continue straight for about 1 km until you reach the train station. After that, take the bus number 45 towards Idrija. The bus will take you through the scenic countryside. Get off at the Črni vrh nad Idrijo stop. From there, walk approximately 1.5 km following the signs to Wild Lake, which will be on your left side. Look out for the footpaths leading to the lake.
Public Transport
Start at the Sežana bus station. Board a bus heading to Idrija; make sure to check the timetable for the latest departure times. Once you arrive at Idrija, transfer to bus number 45 towards Črni vrh nad Idrijo. Alight at the Črni vrh nad Idrijo stop. From the bus stop, it is a short 1.5 km walk to Wild Lake. Follow the path signs, and you’ll find the lake on your left.
