Car
From Škocjan Caves, head northeast on the road towards the town of Divača. After approximately 3 kilometers, merge onto the A1 motorway heading towards Trieste. Continue on the A1 for about 25 kilometers. Take the exit toward Trieste and follow the signs for the SS14 road. After about 5 kilometers, you will reach the area of Prosecco. Follow local signs to Località Prosecco - Contovello. The Kontovelska mlaka (Kontovel pond) should be visible as you approach the address at Località Prosecco - Contovello, 223.

Public Transportation
From Škocjan Caves, walk to the nearest bus stop, which is about a 10-minute walk to the main road. Take the bus heading towards Divača and get off at the Divača station. From Divača, catch a train to Trieste. Once you arrive in Trieste, transfer to bus number 44 towards Prosecco. Get off at the stop for Località Prosecco - Contovello. The Kontovelska mlaka (Kontovel pond) is a short walk from the bus stop.
