From Škocjan Caves, head southeast on the main road (Route 103) towards the town of Divača. After approximately 10 km, merge onto the A1 highway towards Trieste. Continue on the A1 for about 30 km, following the signs for Trieste. Take exit 30 for Trieste Centro and merge onto Via dell'Istria. Follow this road until you reach the city center, where you can find parking near Piazza del Ponterosso.

Public Transportation
From the Škocjan Caves visitor center, take the bus heading to Divača. The bus ride takes about 15 minutes. Once in Divača, transfer to a train bound for Trieste. The train journey will take around 30-40 minutes. Upon arriving at Trieste Central Station, exit the station and follow the signs for the city center. It is a short walk to Piazza del Ponterosso, which is located approximately 1 km from the station.
