Walking
Start at the Škofja Loka town square (Glavni trg), which is easily accessible from anywhere in the town. Head northwest on Glavni trg towards the main road (Cesta 1. maja). Continue straight as the road turns into Cesta na Kamnitnik. Follow this road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass through a residential area and then enter a more wooded and rural setting. Look for signs pointing towards Kamnitnik, as the area is known for hiking trails. After approximately 20-25 minutes of walking, you will reach Kamnitnik. Enjoy the beautiful hiking area!

Public Transport
From the Škofja Loka bus station, take bus number 8 towards the direction of Kamnitnik. The bus departs regularly, but it’s advisable to check the local timetable for exact times. The journey takes about 10 minutes. Disembark at the Kamnitnik stop. From there, follow the walking trail indicated by signs leading into the hiking area. It’s a short walk from the bus stop to the main entrance of Kamnitnik.
