From the center of Škofja Loka, walk to the bus station located on Trg svobode. Look for the bus line that goes to Bohinj. The journey will take approximately 1 hour. Make sure to check the bus schedule in advance as they may vary. Once you arrive at the Bohinj bus stop, follow the signs towards Lake Bohinj, which is about a 15-minute walk from the bus stop.

Head to the nearest train station in Škofja Loka, which is Škofja Loka Railway Station. Board a train heading towards Lesce-Bled. Once you arrive at Lesce-Bled, transfer to a bus that goes directly to Bohinj. The total travel time will be around 1.5 hours. After arriving in Bohinj, follow the signs to Lake Bohinj, which is a short walk from the bus station.

If you prefer to walk, from the center of Škofja Loka, take the path towards the nearby countryside. It is roughly a 2-hour walk to reach Lake Bohinj.
